On a Sunday morning in Sarasota, the best kind of reset may not happen in solitude. It may happen outdoors, with music in the air, a welcoming crowd gathering beside the water, and just enough structure to turn good intentions into a genuinely enjoyable day. That is the thinking behind the Kavyno Wellness Social, a new community-minded event built around movement, nourishment, and the pleasure of showing up together.

Created here in Sarasota, Kavyno brings the increasingly popular wellness social into a distinctly local setting. Rather than treating fitness as a private obligation—or wellness as a luxury experience reserved for quiet retreats—the event frames both as shared civic life. Guests can move through three fitness classes, refuel with a boxed meal and refreshing drink, and explore a collection of wellness activations and experiences presented with local businesses.

The setting is part of the appeal. Nathan Benderson Park has become one of the region’s most recognizable gathering places, a broad, scenic destination where competitive rowing, recreation, festivals, and everyday outdoor life meet. Its open grounds offer a natural backdrop for an event that is as much about connection as it is about exercise. At Kavyno, the workout is one part of the experience; the conversations before class, the discoveries among participating businesses, and the sense of being among neighbors are equally central.

That balance feels particularly suited to Sarasota, a city with a strong appetite for healthy living but an even deeper affection for community rituals. A thoughtfully planned day at the park can make wellness feel less like a checklist and more like a way of inhabiting the place we call home—actively, generously, and with a little room for fun. Whether attendees arrive with a regular fitness practice or simply a desire to spend a Sunday doing something restorative, the format leaves space for both.

The Kavyno Wellness Social takes place Sunday, October 25, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Nathan Benderson Park. Each ticket includes three fitness classes, a boxed meal, a drink, curated wellness activations, and experiences with local businesses. Tickets are limited and available at kavynoco.com; updates and event details can also be found on Instagram at @kavyno_social.
